- EMERGENCY HARD CLOSE ON COMMISSIONS and HEALTH UPDATE
Normally, when I go into a hard close mode, I give a few months warning to let people get their plans in order, but unfortunately there are special circumstances this time around: I just found this week that I have cancer. The good news: it’s thyroid cancer, and in my age, and my health, is is very, very survivable, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t going to be a rough few months or so as I have surgeries, treatments, etc to get it removed.
I fully intend on working on my art to-do list – keeping busy and productive through the process as much as I can, but I need to be able to have a goal in sight with the end of the worklist. As it stands, I currently have enough work on my to-do list – working at a normal rate – to run into mid-February, but I cannot predict at this point the slow-downs that will hit me in the mean time.
At earliest, I expect to reopen commissions at the end of February, but I will keep everyone updated with news as it comes – on facebook, Patreon, and here on my website front page.
If you have any questions, or if there is a special circumstance you need to discuss with me, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m so sorry about this short notice, believe me, this isn’t ideal for me, and you guys and my work are SO important to me.
I do intend on proceeding on Patreon work as normal, along with donation artwork and the community funded sequences as usual with hard closes – but if things change, again, I will post notice.

Every December, I try to do a little extra for all of you who support me through Patreon by doing a sneak preview of ALL of my artwork as soon as I complete and scan it. It's doubly appropriate this year as I'm having to go through a lot due to the cancer diagnosis and the emergency hard close. I want a way to give you all a show of how much your support means to me and so I will be doing this again this year as well as we will be doing another Build-a-sequence this month (where Every few days I post a question, and raffle or put up a poll from the answers that my patreons suggest until we've planned out a TF sequence that I will draw!
I will post the first question TODAY (Nov 30) and leave it open for a few days to give people a chance to get their ideas in!
