Demon Slayer actually does have small clips that they play, but it looks like whatever service they're watching on (looks like it's Netflix) cut them out for some reason.

Some shows have a small clip they play between commercials too, so you would see that and then the repeated moment. Without that little animation moment, if it seems like a perfect cut like this, it will look weird.
