Small health update

Due to caffeine tolerance getting to a point where four cups of coffee did nothing but make my chest feel a bit tight, I decided to take some time to wean myself from the stuff. This isn't me announcing the intent now, btw—I already started doing this over a week ago.

I spent more time asleep than awake during the past month, so I kinda needed to do this. Hell, I needed to do this while the blackout was still going on; instead, I just kept drowning my systems with coffee just because I didn't want to enter a nocturnal sleep schedule while there was zero electricity. Which is ironic since the main result so far has been a stable diurnal sleep schedule.

I haven't completely eliminated coffee from my daily routine, but starting this weekend I'm gonna drink it only every other day, so the bits of morning energies I've gained these past couple days might once again drop during the transition. Next week, I'll eliminate coffee entirely.

So yeah, the point of this all: Until I've finished dealing with caffeine withdrawal, content here and elsewhere will be kind of sparse. Those who have followed since the early days know that I've always had health issues, so I'd like to take some time to actually fix the ones I can directly affect (dependancy on coffee being one of them).

A bit. Warm water would definitely help, but the place I live in doesn't have a water heater, so that'll have to wait until I move out. I think I'll skip the energy drinks, though—just feels like replacing one substance with another. Think I'll stick with reducing coffee and adding more exercise to my routine. The latter's been helping me compensate for the lack of energy caused by the former, so far.

To be perfectly honest, excessive caffeine intake fucks you up really bad. Like u said, youre sleeping more often than youre not. Especially coffee...if you wanna try to stay awake youre better off taking energy drinks or take a drench yourself warm water to reenergize your skin and the rest of ur body...trust me. Ive been through what youre going through now. and its never a good look personally. Hope this helps??
