New color pencil leads

A few months ago i started to use mechanical color pencils for sketching (because I get annoyed by the necessity of sharpening simple pencils every two minutes to get thin lines D:). I bought Pilot eno pencils, red, orange and violet. These ones:

i like the color, how easily it applies to paper, saturation and brightness BUT! when you use water over them they tend to smudge a bit. Not like complete watercolor pencils but still enough to lose details and it makes the painting harder. Besides the leads end too fast, maybe because it's too soft? idk. Anyway, I decided to search for another alternative.

A few days ago I got a parcel with new leads, from Pentel (bought it here ). You can use it with any mechanical pencil 0,5 width (the pilot eno are 0,7) just by replacing the grey lead by these, so did I. I have no idea what brand is this pencil I was just captivated by it's bright mauve color so I bought it XD

What I can say about these leads... well they don't smudge!! That's great! Awesome and amazing! But it's not so bright and easy to apply like the pilot eno ones, I think they are more H side ones. But it's okay because it doesn't smudge!. BUT! (again XD) They are so easy to crack. Because it's hard to get a bright strong line you start to press harder and it cracks. Ohhh... And it seems like they have only red and blue colors but I need my orange and violet (pinks will be great too oh).

Okay my "searching for an ideal color pencil leads" adventures to be continued. Stay tuned :DD

How about Uni NanoDia Color Lead - 0.5 mm - Mix - 7 Color Set. They have seven color in same package. Last time I check it is about 3 dollars. Won't be the worest idea to have a try :)

yeah 2 mm is too much, even 0,7 was kind of thick D:

Pentel has eight colored leads but in 2.0mm not 0.5mm in the States. Maybe too thick for you though.

Yes! I'll definitely will share it (and will so happy because it's such a struggle!) If you'll find that before me please tell me because you know, I will be happy :D But these Pentel's at least don't smudge so you can try to order them and try, maybe you will like it (just don't press too hard :DD)

Oooh this turns out to be reallly useful cause I've been addicted to mechanical pencils for a year now and switched to the colored ones a few months ago for your same reasons eheheh😅 I'm currently using the only type I find in my city aka the Staedtler Mars micro color BUT it smudges when I pass water over it and it's not too saturated😪 So I'm curious to see if you'll be able to find the 👏🏻perfect👏🏻mechanical👏🏻colored👏🏻pencil👏🏻waterproof👏🏻and👏🏻saturated👏🏻 that'd be a dream for me too :')
