Penber ran off after the bus before hte police arrived and the police didn't know he was investigating anything on the bus because the fbi wants to keep theri involvement secret so right now the police has no idea that kira, penber or the busjacking had anything to do with each other which means they have no reason to tell kira about the busjacking which emans he doesn't get to connect it with penber or kira either if pneber had told him about it that could have been bad but he probably died before getting to do that

2024-08-25 00:35:40 +0000 UTCIf you look at the page at 17:03 in the video. At least 4 the agents have their death time set to different times. I can see 5 pm, 5:10, 4:50 etc. The subtitles in the episode say "they died after receiving the same file." Not necessarily immediately or at the same time. If Light does something really stupid, it might be worth doublechecking. :)

2024-08-24 10:31:47 +0000 UTCYou may have misunderstood something with the deaths. Light wrote the deaths of all those agents to happen exactly at the same time, including Penber's. Also he could have written for Penber, that he won't dare to disobey or question Kira's orders before he dies.
