I am so glad Eren was just a F*** Idiot in the end and that I called more than thought. The Ymir/Mikasa twist melted my mind, that was really fucking dark. Editing will take a lot of time though. Also, I did not think a fucking red baby could make me cry :D

i have watched AOT over and OVER again, not just reactions but the show in general, and ive only seen the very end one time. i cried so hard my eyes hurt and i guess i just stay away from it for that reason LOL I'm so glad you liked the ending i can not WAIT for the reaction!! :)

2024-06-07 14:55:24 +0000 UTCOne of my fave parts about AoT is that Eren as a character isn't like other protagonists, who are special or chosen somehow, he was just an average person who had been through so much traumatic shit and lost so much. The only difference was that he had the determination to do anything. As we saw back in S1E4, Shadis described him as "completely average on all fronts, but with a purpose and determination beyond anyone". It makes him one of the most human characters I've ever seen.

I don't think this OVA is a spoiler and feel sad when reactors decide to not watch it before return to shihansina arc:( I love this part when Eren said that he is an idiot! You can't imagine how many people can't accept him 'crying' to Armin in Paths about Mikasa 🤣. If you remember first season when we first time see Marlo, he said that if he has power he would change everything in MP and Annie said that they are doomed if power would end up in his hands and she compared him to "idiot" Eren. When Marlo wanted to punish MP that sell equipment but couldn't, he asked if that idiot could do it and she said "maybe".

People aren't able to withstand "bias" and can't see a picture through all hatred they have. You were the first one i saw fr smart and unbiased enough to instantly see the characters for what they've done and for what they defy to learn. That made this reaction outstanding.

I can honestly say that after finishing the series and watching it at least ten times through the eyes of various friends and reactors, I have complicated feelings about AOT. It is definitely art though, a compelling work that doesn't give the audience any rest or peace of mind unless they either stop watching or stop paying attention.

If your going to do a poll anytime soon I recommend 2 animes. 1 is monster which is a psychological thriller. The other is steins gate which is an amazing interpretation of time travel.

Maybe the length of your AoT finale video here will rival that of LM Reactions’ four and a half hours. I cannot recommend enough watching the official music video of Requiem der Morgenröte (the 4th ED of the show focusing on Historia). It can be watched as its own thing but the full lyrics and the animated stop-motion visuals are a brilliant representation to what I interpret to be Eren’s dream and character flaws and the consequences of different choices that could have been made by him in the show but are not. The full lyrics of the song completely change their context from season 3 part 1.
