Attack on Titan 4x11

The darkness continues...

I love that when Galliard says "I can't believe we fought alongside a traitor all this time" it just zooms in on Reiner. Like YEAH, REINER, IMAGINE THAT.

Hippopi

"Basically every character here is Paul Atreides" That sums it up about as well as you can

Michael Uebele

"a king that can't protect his people is no king at all"

do you think Floch's owned cowardness as he called himself a coward may have to do with him taking this survival of the fittest stand and be pro-rumbling? I think he changed after Shinganshina as well To me its like this weird thing where he recognized that if they aren't strong or brave enough he'll put all his eggs in the basket that'll assure their own safety the most (a demon like Eren Jaeger as he said once too) playing into this thing born out of that cowardness he felt

the whole louise and kids looking up to them thread is storytelling genius

HAL

most of their ancestors fled from marley like 100 years ago so in smaller villages you'd still have some local accents survive

I think floch just wants that charge to be worth something erwin said "we die trusting the living who come after us to give our lvies meaning" and then zeke got away and if that whole situation didn't lead to something he considers worth their lives then this whole idea crumbles, he can't accept that

This endscene alone for me is a pinnacle of Isayama's storytelling. I bawled my eyes out fr just the fact that these three kids are in a situation where they have to figure out what racism is and how UNFAIR it is by themselves, because they're parents coudn't. So much tension insane scenery and voice acting. Gabi denies but these events lead up to another event in some episodes that connects with that. The whole Gabi/Falco Storyline is something worthy of being told in normal school-education. Beautiful and unambiguous. Attack on titan is a story about humans. I get emotional even thinking of that plotline. As unambiguous as the message is, many people really just root for eren in their first watch and look away at these deep messages. Many people just want to watch an anime and relax, not thinking. I mean there are many stories that unfold their depth while growing up like Winnie-the-Pooh or Momo. I would say attack on titan clearly takes part in these genres (just being not for kids at all). It has big educational worth and should effectively get spread for that case. Do you know any other books/story's that unfold their depth while getting older and more profound?

Sasha's death pays such dividends for sure. I am also glad Isayama held off until that point in the story. I do wish Sasha and others were given more time to develop/grow in the anime. I feel like he could have hurt us a lot worse XD

Shashas dad had the accent waay before. The accent came from the place where shadha came from. Also now that everything is almost revealed and we realized why there were lies. Why Uri didn't erase the titan even though Uri was so stern on eradicating them before inheriting the founder and Why there were religion people and other lies. Why people who had curiousity to venture outside the wall like armins parents were killed...Do you think it was better to keep the people ignorant and just enjoy bliss? I think previous holder of the Founder Titans will is for things to remain as is. To be honest erens will is so strong that it Rivals the generation of thoughts and will before him. He was what Uri failed to be.

Gabriel Zuniga

I really like the Kaya Gabi interaction.

I don't think Sasha's father's eyes were dead, I think it's more being worried seeing a child they probably assumed was abused and ran away from home. As people sheltering orphans I'm sure they would be familiar with traumatized children.

Lucid

Gabi is obviously heavily indoctrinated, but more than that she also had that worldview brutally reinforced when Paradis attacked Liberio. It's no surprise she has such a difficult time letting go of that.

Lucid

I think when Reiner says he heard Gabi's and Falco's voices it was back when they were shouting at him for help after Eren and the gang attacked Libero. He heard them screaming for help as he lay in a half-dead state because he lost the will to live for a second.
