The cruel part is that we get so much sascha plot after she dies, which jsut makes it hurt more, even more on the first rewatch

There's actually been quite a bit of evidence to foreshadow Zeke's betrayal. He's been sus since S3 part 2. His betrayal/the fact that he's up to something separate from the Marleyan agenda is quite glaring.
1. S3 E17, He gets angry when the Scouts are charging him and thinks how tragic it is that they're repeating history. He then has to check himself and remind himself that he's not like his father Grisha, and that he has to try and enjoy things. After killing the approaching Scouts, he puts up his hands and cheers, somethin pretty out of character from everything we've seen from him so far.
2. S3 E18, He tells Eren that he's going to come back and rescue him. This is the most glaring sign that Zeke isn't the character we thought he was.
3. In S4 E2, in his conversation with Colt, it's revealed that he's purposefully hidden the fact that he has royal blood from the Marleyan army/government.
4. In that same episode, he tips off the warriors that the Marleyan brass are listening in on their private meeting. Magath notices this and is concerned that Zeke made that remark.
5. In S4 E4, Eren is shown to have a baseball and a baseball glove. This is a clear indication that he's been in contact with Zeke, as Zeke is the only character in the show to have a connection to baseball.
6. In S4 E5 undercover Yelena sends him and only him away before leading Porco and Pieck to the pit trap.
7. Zeke is then absent for the entirety of Episode 6 and takes his sweet ass time getting to the battlefield even though he's the highly regarded War Chief.
8: In S4 E7 when Zeke calls out Levi, he tells him that "he's running out of time" before it cuts to Levi looking directly at a stopwatch, waiting for something. This is an obvious hint that the two are in cahoots.
9. Levi takes Zeke down with no resistance at all. This is more of a common sense thing as a viewer, but there's absolutely no way a character as major as Zeke was going to get killed like that.
I'm sure there are many more, but this is all I've got off the top of my head.

Yeah seen a lot of debates on why Eren's laughing at Sasha's death but no one ever mentiones we've seen the exact same thing happen at Hannes' death. It's Eren's coping mechanism for intense trauma

To be fair Eren laughing when Sasha died, is also similar to how he laughed when Hannes died. It's like a trauma response

It's a nice thought, but she recognized Yelena because she was associated with Zeke, not because of any unmentioned crush.

Yes, they are, but after the time skip(and animation change) it can be a bit confusing, especially, because we haven't seen yelena before this, and her face wasn't shown directly, tbh i also tought yelena was armin at first

F for our potato girl 🥲
I like how separated after boarding on zeppelin was Sasha, Conny and Jean with other members of squad. We had novice members who were happy with “victorious” raid and praised “glorious” death of their comrades, and veteran members who had doubts about this raid and were obviously sad about loss of survey corps members in attack. Also, when Sasha was shot, novices rushed to beat intruders, but Jean and Conny tried to help Sasha. It seems, we saw here totally different mindset between veterans, “leading” by Jean, and novices, “leading” by Flocke
And I’m sorry but I’m sure their are plenty fanfics about Eren touching Zecke 😏
Thank you for reaction!

How do people confuse Yelena with Armin? HOW?????? They are so obviously different and distinct in looks.

In my opinion, it’s almost more realistic to have a couple simple characters like Sasha in a story. You’ve mentioned many times you wished she was more complex, or we got a more complex look into her, but even in real life, there are some people that are just a lot more simplistic.
Not to say everyone doesn’t have their own issues or anything, but I think AoT already has an abundance of characters with deep, complex, and tragic backstories. To me it almost got to the point of, “Does EVERY characters parents have to be killed in front of them?!”
I think the addition of characters that grow up a bit more normally and have more simplistic goals, “retake the land to raise sheep and cattle”, is healthy to a story to keep it more grounded, and to keep the “tragic” characters a bit more unique and special.

I'm sure you'll be told a hundred times in youtube comments (in fact I may have told you back in S2!) that Isayama intended to kill Sasha in 2x2, and was talked out of it by his editors/producers because she was so well loved. I feel like this is a much better completion of her arc, so I'm glad they intervened.

And now we see the second reason Peik/Cart Titan is my favorite, she's queer ^_^. She recognized Yelena because she had a crush on her. It's the least Isayama could do to give us a bisexual queen like Piek after how badly he treated our sapphic couple (RIP Ymir).

He is called Flocke not Floch
Most character just butcher it so much. Jean actually pronounces it properly most of the time if you listen carefully. like: (FL-OCK-e)

I have an inkling Sasha’s death will surprisingly hit hard more than just the two times you mentioned it got you this episode. I’m so excited for you to see how the story and characters develop from here!

The way the writer adds these small or new events and storylines into the show and then develop them the way he does is so beautiful. It almost feels like something does not hit until later, sort of like real life. I am really excited and sad for your reaction to the rest of show.
Also, good buy to our last fragment of comic relief.
(of course she was a lot more than that for me)

Also if you rewatch when Gabi goes for the second shot, Jean and Gabi shoot at the same time but Falco saves them both: he knocks Gabi's aim off Jean and also pushes her out of the way of Jean's bullet.

It’s only appropriate that as the true war starts, the comic relief — the source of levity, the remaining *heart* in the group — gets shot in the heart and dies. It’s the perfect symbolism. The time for levity has finally ended.
