Attack on Titan 4x07

Holy hell, what am I watching...?

Attack on Titan 4x07

I really like Magath, a very human and nuanced character imo. He isn't a "good" person but he seems to be aware of that. He trains and leads these child soldiers, but is also shown to genuinely care for them. And he actually questions the military and his own position, even while still following orders.

30:10 I mean he was mostly rooting for falco to protect gabi from becoming a titan

HAL

21:20 last time they saw pieck she carried zeke and reiner away after they had sacrificed hundreds of lifes to incapacitate them and yet he hesitated

HAL

galliard may have been rash and stupid... bit like 1x05 eren but given the strategic importnace of eren and him standing right in front of them its sortof understandable

HAL

part of why the cart titan is genius

HAL

and thats why the season 4 buildup raises it to a whole other level I think most people react like that at some point here

HAL

13:30 now armin is become death

HAL

the photo establishing care for each other, teh machine gun fire lasting a bit longer after his death cause his hands still on the trigger, way to make you feel something in like 2 seconds and "our guys" did it

HAL

6:30 there's an actual bird that kills small animals by impalign htem on trees and its actually been featured in episode 7 in mikasas flashback when she realizes teh world is cruel but beautiful

HAL

I get shivers even thinking about the voice acting Gabi and Falco did there. Absolutely insane and the first moment i stopped rooting like a simp and started thinking what tf happens here.

And yes eren got the War Hammer. They just need the Spinal fluid. He gulped down the blood and assuming the final flued of the war Hammer.

Gabriel Zuniga

I took it as him not being able to manifest his armor because his will to live is on life support.

"I don't know who to root for now. It's just people I like killing each other." That's a very accurate statement about what's happening in this show and probably about all wars fought in real life if you got to know people on both sides.

I always thought that maybe Reiners second form was a similar type of thing to what happens to eren at the end of season 1 against Annie

Blüty

I always cry when Gabi and Faco scream for Reiner

puremetalcore

Zeke, piece, and galliard made a strong defensive formation as their strengths covered each other’s weaknesses. When galliard made an emotional charge, it was the perfect opening for Levi

Gabby screaming to Reiner for help was probably one of the most memorable moments of the entire series for me. It's the point at which Isayama cemented the humanity of the Marleyan Eldians imho. Not that it wasn't happening the whole of season 4 up until now. There's something (at least for most people) impossible to ignore in the screams for help from a child. I think the "point" of season 4, and perhaps the series as a whole up to this point, is that there are no inhuman monsters in war. There are people who do inhumane things, but even they are people. This is something that always grates on my nerves whenever I see calls for massive assaults in the news. Every soldier and every general and every politician involved in a war is involved in the slaughter of people and that is the unavoidable truth. There's a great quote from a favorite series of mine "You want this war to be holy, but it's not. The very best you can hope for is that it is justified".

carlo's death made me sad as fxck too.... those pictures....

The way the best & most heartbreaking is still yet to come. The story that keeps on giving.

When I originally read this chapter I also thought Galliard got the War Hammer. But Eren got it. I think they tried to make it a little more clear in the anime with Eren’s eyes changing right after

Jordan Cobb

I love how in the span of very few episodes, almost everyone goes from having an absolutely seething hatred for the Cart Titan in the battle of Shiganshina, to desperately hoping she lives when our own heroes just blasted her with rockets. Such a masterful reversal in such a short amount of time.

Kevin

Nooo, I am at work 🥲

puremetalcore

Galliard’s Jaw broke the crystal, but the Warhammer host’s blood— and more importantly, her spinal fluid— flowed down into Eren’s mouth, not Galliard’s.
