I mean
you could argue some of hte lyrics could be about the founding titan
by passing on its memories it kindof makes the royals who take it part of an eternal being
and by not giving it back to a royal they ended that being

yep, season 4 first opening is great
it spoils literally nothign that hasn't been revealed yet, just reacts to the new tone
though season 4 second opening is a bit spoilery and should only be seen at least halfway through part 2

Did you have already suggestions to watch/skip season 4 first opening? I think this opening is good to watch immediately from first episode, without song/frames analysis. I think it's great opening to experience from the start of new season. You could watch it 1 time in the beginning and then leave it for analysis later. But it's just my opinion.

it's a huge tonal change and I really like the wilder ones but it works really well not just for this part but teh variety it adds to the openings fits the development of the show really well
I think its not really a spoiler that the next opening is going to be different from this one :P

I would interpret wings for example "wings" sign of scouts. I agree with Anna, I think you can interpret it as you choose.

I think 1 thing was hidden but you will understand only after season 4. It would be cool if you revisit all openings and endings after you finish anime, even songs, to understand/connect dots, from who point of view those songs.

My least favorite OP, but likely because it simply isn't my musical aesthetic. A lot of people love this one. I would say the main theme is growing up. There are other ways to interpret a lot of the imagery which is more impactful once you've finished the series but obviously I am not going to comment on those :)
