I also hope that there will be more seasons. But I think it will take about 1-3 years until we know more. Maybe there will be a movie in between. Who knows. At the moment there is still a lot of story material left from the manga. If I'm not mistaken, there should still be 5 arcs in total after the "First-Class Mage Exam Arc". Animes are also used to make the mangas better known. Those who are interested in the story then buy the manga to find out what happens next. If the sales figures are right, there are usually more seasons. That's why those responsible usually wait and see. But with Frie being as well received as it is, I'm not worried that it would fail because of that.

Like, I was stuck with video until it was premiered at YouTube, because I didn’t watched it exactly after you posted it on Patreon. I’m not complaining, just fun fact 😅 Good point about team work, Ubel and Land in this episode established that the clones can't talk. They can't communicate and work together so each one acts independently. And it is strength for mages who team up, because they can use each other’s strengths and weaknesses to defeat copies. For example, that's why clone Erhe went off on her own which allowed Wirbel to kill her as clone Sharf wasn't there to defend her with his physical shield which would have held up against such an attack. It is not manga spoiler, it based on previous anime episodes, it seems unified dynasty ruled some kind of united empire, we saw it at Frieren flashbacks when she was Flammel apprentice — Greek-Roman style human nation. In current Frieren timeline it is something like medieval and for medieval kingdoms there was glorious Roman Empire, which ruled over whole ecumene. And I think, like for medieval people Roman Empire was something special and precious, with great tales and mysterious ruines, for current Frieren’s world kingdoms this United empire from her flashbacks was special and left for them mysterious dungeons. It is strange for me, I’m not good at Japanese, may be about A1 level, but Edel, hypnosis mage, speaks Japanese elderly. Like very old woman, great grand mother style. I may be wrong, of course, I’m not good at Japanese. It’s strange, because I didn’t catch such vibe when I read manga couple years ago. Interesting detail, Sense, proctor mage, keep saying that she is pacifist, and it seems, that her clone also is a pacifist, despite the fact, that it hasn’t Sense mind, because it only immobilized Edel when it definitely could pierce her heart or brain and instantly kill her, but it gave her opportunity to use escape bottle. The guy sitting between running water, it seems, he is the guy who entered to dungeon first, after rejecting Denkens offer to conquer dungeon together. Bro is caught in trap alone, it wasn’t wise to try to go through dungeon alone 😅 Also, I like Frierens reacting towards Fern saying she might know a way to kill her, it is pure reaction of good teacher — because, I think, good teachers always want students to overcome them, because it is evidence of their teaching skills and power :) Thank you for the reaction, it was great as always. Especially if you watch different anime at the same time.😉 Edit: Since I was unsure if other studios helped with some episodes (or outsourced workload). I can say that I found no information about that. So Madhouse should have produced everything on their own.

2024-02-24 18:54:44 +0000 UTCI get excited when I see the length is around 30 minutes, I already it’s going to be a deep dive! Haha! Madhouse not mappa unless I misunderstood you. The mangaka did take off about 5 months to work with madhouse in creating the anime. So I’m sure like Kubo they added more to it.
