Like remember a few episodes ago when Frieren said she likes weird old wizards in villages because they have legendary spells, and then said these legendary spells do things like "clean pots; remove grease". She really is a mage of peace, absolutely.

The power of imagination opens up a wide range of possibilities. And as Richter points out, there are certain logical limitations that makes the magic feel natural.
