Both her morphology and my statement make it beyond any possible doubt that she is an adult. I'm not that knowledgeable - beyond designs of character - about the Sonic lore but I am certain it's irrelevant. In fiction, age is dependent on interpretation and representation. If I never stated in all my releases my character are adults, maybe someone could argue she is under 18. But I do, and I am certain no one will argue that I am depicting a character that looks like she's a 6-year-old. So that's the end of the matter. Do not be concerned. We've gone through this with both a lawyer and Patreon in the past to ensure that we do not violate any terms of service (let alone the law). Safe to say, "canon" is not a definitive proof or statement of reality. That is, one cannot claim she is X age simply because another source says so. The only true statements are that she looks X age or that the artist depicting her has stated she is X age. All this covered already in the prior paragraph. Further, we ensure our characters appear as adults—not only to comply with terms of service and the law but also to prevent misuse. If people still choose to report this despite my adherence to the terms of service, national law, and international law—despite my efforts to eliminate any room for misinterpretation and to prevent misuse—then there is little I can do about that. However, I can defend myself against any future allegations because I am legally advised and confidently know I am doing everything correctly.
