I had a plan for my schedule and Meowscarada. I had to change plans because I spent some time learning a new trick for her design. I considered waiting until Tuesday for an update, but I didn’t want to leave you without any updates in the meantime.

Meowscarada's headmod needs a few tweaks to make, especially at the back of her head, and I’ll be adding some final touches like eyelashes near the end of the process. Aside from that, the animations are the only major part left missing from the headmod which I'll be tackling next week. And yes, I'll make the sleeves, but... I mean look at how cute she's looking so far :3

Now this is why I got a bit sidetracked. I wanted to make the cape into a single piece of clothing, seamlessly integrated with the front and responding to body deformations, instead of separating it. I had no idea you could do this and learning how to do it took me all week, but I finally figured it out! Now the cape is part of her outfit and behaves naturally, moving fluidly with the body’s deformation.

I don't know why I didn't learn this earlier, but the most exciting part is that - now that I’ve learned this technique - I believe I can create much better skirts, hanging shirts, capes, and even new items like hanging belts or sleeves that actually behave like sleeves! This could also help fix some of the common issues we’ve had in the past if Remake-Polls win in the future.

I’m still exploring the potential of these techniques, so I won’t go too deep into it yet. But for now, it’s time for what you’ve all been waiting for:
