I missed Tuesday because I thought it was Monday— classic me🦊. I was so focused on working on Pacifica that by the time I realized, it was too late. On the bright side, the extra time let me fine-tune some minor details on Stick's headmod.
This headmod comes packed with all the usual expressions, but wow, it took much longer than I anticipated. Having to move the frame of the face and the eyelids makes these mobian headmods really laborious.
But in retrospect, the major challenge was still her top and necklace. All those free-floating pieces right in the middle of the chest? That’s easily the worst place for complex geometry, and trust me, there was plenty. After a lot of trial and error, I finally got it looking great!
The UV maps are somewhat similar to Blaze’s, but I had to make adjustments to handle the added complexity. If you’re planning to edit, a guide will definitely be your best friend. The unusual UVs reflect the challenges!
I had to incorporate the hair elements because they're part of the shape of the head and it requires to have normal maps on the same element. I also had to cut the back of the head to have the lines show clearly. It's delicate I have to admit :P

Hey. I just got the mod yesterday and I tried to open it with 7zip, but it doesn't seem to let me do it. You know what I need to do?

2025-03-15 13:42:34 +0000 UTCSomething's definitely fishy. You should be able to change expressions in the Maker or in the CharaStudio fairly easily by changing mouth and eyes. It should also animate during scenes. Do you think you could reach me out on Discord Server or on the Patreon chat?

In the character creation it wasn’t showing the head mod for customization which is funny because with sticks I also downloaded Kim and put them both under the same folder yet Kim’s head mod shows up but sticks doesn’t. I’ll have to look into it later
