How do I start?

Koikatsu

Koikatsu is a character creation and dating simulation game. It’s popular for its flexibility in creating and customizing characters, often used for art, animations, or mods like the ones I make. :3

Due to the freedom to customize our own characters, these and other Illgames have become very popular amongst modding communities. You can do a lot with a Vanilla distribution of the game but there are limits as these games are constrained to an aesthetic. If you want to go beyond what is possible to do in the vanilla games, you'll need to patch or get a patched redistribution of the game in order to apply/install mods which will allow you further customisation. Otherwise, you might suffer...

Videos are just complementary in case you want extra info but the process is pretty straightforward.

Import mods

Once ready, you can import my models into Koikatsu using the provided files. Just place them in the right folder and load them in the character creation menu. I always add extra instructions and an instructive .pdf in my download for your help ;3

Can't download files?/Wacatac false positive?

Some users might encounter issues with Windows Defender flagging downloads as unsafe. This is inconsistent and depends on the file and user, but don't worry—it's a known false positive. To bypass it, simply use Firefox for downloading.

This issue is common with compressed files and has been reported frequently both in the KK community and elsewhere. Rest assured, my files are safe. Here's why:

For a file to be harmful, it must contain executable code like .exe, .bat, or .js files. My distributions only include harmless file types like .txt, .png, .csv, and .unity3d. These are incapable of being programmed maliciously by their very nature.

I've thoroughly tested and documented my findings to ensure safety, so you can download with confidence. :3

Where do I report issues (missing files, glitches, etc)?

Send a message on Discord or on Patreon chat if files are missing.

For specific glitches, try reporting at bug-sightings on Discord.
