Operation Fidelio Bonus 2

In some post here I mentioned there would be no more last minute additions to the Host's story and I'd focus on the last part or something. 

See, the thing is, I wasn't lying to you my beautiful Patreons. I was lying to myself. But I didn't know.

With how detailed the last stretch of the story is ending up to be, I felt this part of the story needed to be a little bit fleshed out. Like showing more of how Vero and Iggy get from the arms of a vampire to the hallway for example.

2 of this I've already made public today but here you can find the good quality versions of it because for some reason most sites I've been posting them have been going to town with the image quality of these pictures. Especially the red ones have been coming up deep-fried to hell.

The situation was tense so Veronica tries to thinks of, as she'd put it “some BS so he lets us go”

-Well...- she replied to the host due to his refusal to let them go. -you see, he has S.B.S...- Both Arsene and Ignacio remained silent and in confusion for a moment. -Shy bowel syndrome…- she added to her lie.

-oh…- reacted Arsene completely thrown off by her reply.

-Yeah, he can't go to the bathroom away from home- Veronica continued, not yelling but loud enough to make sure some people hear it -but it helps if I talk to him through…-

-Don’t say more… I understand- said the vampire who would have never expected a reply like that. But more importantly realizing that, especially now that more people are aware of their conversation, asking further, not letting them go or insisting on joining them would be weird and would even create a scene. -The bathroom is upstairs to the left of the hallway…-

Vero thinks quickly and comes up with a story shameful enough that there would be no follow up questions, managing to hit two birds with one stone, escaping from a vampire and having a revenge on Ignacio over the date comments before.

Some probably low brow comedy but I think it would work because I think Arsene was genuinely grossed out by the comments. Especially because I'm sure vampires don't go to the bathroom. Or at least I don't like to think of the implications if they do.

He probably hasn't even thought of that in hundreds of years and suddenly they come at him with that. I bet he was like “Oh right, the non-undead are yucky. Too bad they're also delicious.” lmao

-What the fuck was that?- asked an ashamed Ignacio to Veronica as they walked away.
-Is he following us?- whispered Veronica through her fake smile. Ignacio turned back just enough to check.
-No-
-Then it worked...-

Now free, but not completely, they kept walking knowing the Host kept watching them all the way until they disappeared from his view on the hallway.

Also, through silhouette my parrot gets to make a cameo. I guess as a waiter or something because I'm clearly not cool enough to get invited to something like this and if I did I probably wouldn't go lmao.

-Alright, what's going on?- Ignacio asked as they took a turn in the maze of hallways where they thought no one would hear them.

-What do you mean?- asked Veronica.

-You just dancing with that guy, I thought you were under his power or something..-replied Ignacio.

-Well he tried but, you know how it is, you pretend to give them what they want and…-

-Are you drunk?- Ignacio interrupted her after perceiving some alcohol in her breath.

-What? No…! Just had a couple of drinks…-

-I can't believe it!-

-I had to blend in…- explained Veronica 

-I can't believe it, I’ve been all night back here at the hallways opening doors and you were out there getting drunk and having fun dancing…-

They continued to argue not knowing they were now being heard by someone 

Elmira, a woman who Ignacio rudely bumped into earlier and she seemed still pretty mad about it so she followed them.

-Well turns out I can get a date, big thing…!

-You heard that? Is this about that?- 

-Of course not. I’ve been gathering information.- Said Veronica who proceeded to list some of the information she had gathered thought the night. The mansion was sold to the new owners a year ago right after the old owner went crazy and disappeared.Some bodies have been found chopped up and dried up but they're not being reported so whoever is behind this has contacts in higher places and that guy I was dancing with happened to be the Host of the party, who was about to tell me about…-

-Vampire…- Said Ignacio.

-What?-

The reveal of Elmira’s presence. I didn't mention it but I've been teasing her before making her annoyance at Ignacio clearer from the dance floor. I edited Orson out of the original picture so he can appear in the next one.

Picture 6 and 7

-He’s a vampire- Ignacio repeats to Veronica. Elmira reacts after hearing this.

-Fuck- says Veronica having not believed Ignacio before but now any amount of disbelief on her voice has disappeared after having this last piece of information fit perfectly in the puzzle on her mind-Now what?!-

Right at that moment, Orson, the private Investigator with whom Elmira had been dancing for the last hour appears finding her after he saw her leave towards the hallways. Thinking she might have left to find a room for them both.

-Elmi?- he said.

And then cut to Elmira performing some acts of super human (For a lack of a better word) and he, honestly justifiedly, pulling out a gun on her.

And that's it for now. Now I can finally focus on the last batch and luckily there's no more last minute additions to the story to be done, right?... Right?...
