Lil - Reference Sheet 2025

She has nothing else she’d rather do .

She's the bassist for the WornDown Children 

She knows more than it seems and is very good at keeping secrets. She's also very good at hiding her feelings.

She has been surrounded by music all her life.

Her parents were musicians who learned to live less fast for her. They owned a music school-store and there her father taught her to play guitar and bass.

She is very introverted and had problems making friends except for some kids who would assist her family’s music school. She has no problems with crowds and audiences.

In highschool she was reached by Zara, a friend from the music school days who had a newfound interest in songwriting and began a duo that would later become the band “The WornDown”

She began playing guitar but after Diana, another friend of theirs, joined and proved to be better at it Lil moved to play second guitar and eventually bass, an instrument that she has become more comfortable with since.

She’s very reserved about these things but what's known is that she's never been in a serious relationship. Though she has been on an ongoing, often long distance sort of situationship like deal with a guy named Diego she met in highschool.

And we'll, that covers the official character synopsis, but here are a couple of fun facts I couldn't add to it without making it mucho texto.

She started smoking at 16 to the initial displeasure of her parents when they discovered it. 

They had quit it when she was going to be born, and they tried to make her stop but they secretly were relieved because, A: She started doing it on her own so it was not their fault and B: It meant that they could smoke again but they waited till she was 18 when she smoking was legally out of their hands anyway.

She has been trying to quit it as well but she hasn't tried hard enough. 

And to expand a bit on the secrets thing, well… she's… very tiny, and her fur has a very discreet colour so she goes unperceived a lot and the other characters sometimes won't notice she's in the room and knows more than it seems lmao. It's a characteristic she shares with Tak in a way but more on that eventually maybe.

I'm mostly joking of course but for example sometimes Lil can come up with some unexpected zinger like wall too thin and such. I used to have a friend like that, always quiet and then sometimes Boom!

There's an anime/manga I've mentioned before that I used to watch/read to give myself brain damage on highschool named Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and there was one character named Kagero whose main character traits were having male pattern baldness at 14 and being unperceivable by other characters (The light reflects from his bald head and makes a mirage effect) and after his first appearance he shows up in every single episode but faded into the background and is never acknowledged by anyone. And I've thought about making something like that as a running gag with Lil before, obviously not that exagerated but that’d be funny.

See, I've had a lot of time to think about all of this dumb stuff I'm writing because as most of you may know, I had to make this one twice.

Last week while coloring the expression sheet part of this sheet, which would have been in fact the last thing that involved drawing, an electric generator near my house exploded (again) luckily enough I have a no break regulator that gave me enough time to hit the save button. But sadly, or as I like to think of it, stupidly, it didn't give the computer enough time to actually save the file. 

The thing went off mid-process and when the lights went back on I discovered the file had been corrupted and turned into a single black square..

And it was pretty stupid (funny but I was too mad to laugh) because had the computer turned off at the time of the explosion a backup file would have been saved. But as the main file was technically “saved” as I did ordered for it to be as far as the program knew at the moment, the backup file was scrapped.

So yeah, I already ordered a new nobreak but this was a very annoying way to find out I needed a new one.

From what I remember, this one kind of ended up better but that's because I had the problem-solving already done in my head.

Here I do a little bit of redesign or something like it by changing the colour of Lil’s pants on her main model. I haven't really drawn her brown pants in a while and I’ve been experimenting a lot with different colours for her and she looks good In blue. I also give her a completely new outfit on her secondary picture where she plays the bass

I originally had this rule of her never wearing dark colours on her clothes so they don't get confused with her fur but I've been breaking it lately and it has worked so why not “unmake” it official?
