I still love myself some goofy Milhouse kinda looking Tina but got to mix it up sometimes. Lol Well, I could always retcon and make them live in a town 30 mins from the beach but yeah, that's exactly why I changed it. The pool thing, well, that's why it's the non canon pic right? Tough I was thinking more about a tiny kids type inflatable pool. Maybe they though it'd be larger before inflating it and party ruined or something. Lol I can kind of imagine that. And yeah, someone else might appear on these pictures soon, who knows lol

2025-04-03 16:18:04 +0000 UTCFinally the band and all of their nerd love interests* are all together in a wholesome scene, playing "nerd games" (to quote Mae Borowski) that actually incorporate the Cartographer's story in-universe, no less! For a moment I was wondering what looked off about Tina, then I realized it and had it confirmed in the description; she really does have "Milhouse glasses" usually! XD Changing it from yet another beach visit to a rooftop party may be a good idea in retrospect even if the former has a justification, since besides making the band look like a bunch of rich beach bums and the impracticality of playing a trading card game on the beach (imagine if a sudden gust of wind blew away poor Khun, Aki and Den!), I realize that with all the beach pieces so far - plus an entire short comic about them visiting and then fleeing from a pool - one might interpret it as just an excuse to keep showing the characters in swimsuits, but at least that would make them fit the new tier better. X3 Though the non-canon version could still be justified if Tony and Davo's building has a rooftop pool...wait, that would go right back to the problem of making them look rich, doesn't it? ;P *With the remaining non-nerd love interest(s?) presumably elsewhere, of course, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before she (they?) permanently join the group... ;)
