Have you ever wondered how Sylvie and company spend their Christmas?... 

You do? All the time? It obsess you? 

Well that's weird, but to be honest me too.

But worry no more! 

Now a lot of you will need a reminder (or introduction) of who these guys are because I haven't really done a lot with them for a while. Here it is, but long story short, these four friends form part of a collective of street artists and performers that travel around all the places doing shows. 

Sylvie the iguana is a fire dancer and Dominique the rat is an acrobat. And the role of the other two, Dalia de cockatoo and Dimitri the lion, is still a mystery at the moment. I mean… I know it. But I'm not letting you know yet because I wanted to reveal it through individual pieces of them performing their acts but unfortunately I lost Dalia's file and I'm still mad at it because It was almost completed. It literally was just missing the background, and I'm still so mad I can't even fathom the idea of starting it again… but I guess there’s no option… and I was going to do Dimitri's right after that one. 

Could you guess what their thing is from this picture? I don't know, I guess but I warn you that Dalia and some other artists in the collective change their act a bit during the holidays. Hence the elf costume. 

And here are the four of them taking a break right after one of their Christmas shows, which is the answer to the question at the beginning of this post.

During the Christmas season and especially during the day the collective gives Christmas shows for the children and maybe some more spicy ones for adults if there is enough audience after midnight.

How spicy? Well not a lot changes but among other things the clowns can swear during those.

And here we can see these guys taking a break right after one of these midnight shows.

They're tired but excited because they can actually take the 26 off. Dalia is extra excited because she got the last cinnamon at the store. Sylvie is just chilling, having a little bit of a Zen moment and Dimitri is talking about some pretentious indie movie he just saw bootlegged while Dominique is having a smoke and pretending she's not listening to him. They have been trying to not be seen together a lot because they have been having an affair lately but it's a secret.

It feels like an odd choice to do a Christmas picture of these guys at least before some other characters of mine but the idea came to me really strongly and I had to do it and also because I'm having trouble picturing Tak's Christmas piece. I know what it is going to be but I don't really know what it is going to look like.

But I will figure it out… I think… so that will be the next one I post except I also have already sketched another with some other character so who knows.
