Somehow a direct sequel to Living Forever, and this just comes to show how truly chaotic Laura is.

Also, Presenting my new character. Jen! The Komodo Dragon lady. Waiter Captain. Divorced single mother and she's trying her best. Total Tsundere but she's a sweetheart when you actually get to know her.

I'm not sure If we'll see hear again… lol

Now don't worry. After explaining it all, Jen totally understood, apparently she had been in similar situations in the past, and Diana even got to keep the tips so it wasn't that bad of a day. She may even actually get the job if I feel like revisiting this concept in the future.

See, my memory is a bit fuzzy on this detail but I remember once posting about the band having day jobs and then, except for Davo I kind of never followed up on that one. And I think I remember mentioning that Diana worked at a restaurant.

That's just a sign of how long I've had something similar to this story in mind.

It all began one day when I realized that Diana's tie outfit kind of looked like a waitress uniform.

I've actually had the layout of this comic sketched for a couple of months but I didn't include the dialogue and then I forgot a bit but here it is still.

Here I'm also presenting Lola! 

Studies gastronomy in a public college. Works as a waitress at a local diner where she actually gets to cook from time to time. Currently also moonlighting as a waitress at “Fabrizio” to get her moped fixed.

Another fun fact. Her original introduction I had to cut in order of not having a whole new page just for that and it went like this.

“Hi! I'm Lola. Like the song. But I'm not a man… Or a trans woman. Not that there's something wrong with that of course. I'm not transphobic… let me start over again. Hi! I'm Lola! Like the bunny. Except not a bunny.”

This whole dialogue came from the fact that I actually named her after the song Lola by the Kinks, shortly before I actually paid attention to the lyrics lol.

Also, unfortunately for Diana, here I present her boyfriend Oscar. He works for a food delivering app and met Lola at the diner she works at while making some deliveries from there some months ago and I kind of think that cute idk…

Sometimes I feel sad for Diana. But I also think it's funny. But who knows she might be about to get a break. Maybe… In the meantime she just got a new friend and I think that's good. We might or might not see her again.

And I say that knowing that I made a comic I haven't shown yet cause she appears there and I thought about making her introduction before.

There's some other stuff I want to do before that one still cause I kind of stumbled into a sort of plot backwards and by accident.

At five pages this is my longest comic so far (or is it?) So the next couple I'll make may be a bit shorter. But who knows…

Also a last detail. Fabrizio is in their world a restaurant chain that had appeared in my art before and it also happens to be a Genesis (the band) reference! What a surprise coming from me… a bit of an obscure one as well. In the track "Small Talk" of their last album “Calling all Stations” and around 03:32 you can hear someone say “Fabrizio” in the background and that sound has gotten permanently printed in my mind cause I'm constantly “quoting” it. And I don't know why.

CAS is the least popular Genesis album but I dig it.
