Since last year when coming up with a Christmas piece for Nicole and the gang I thought I could do something with A Christmas Carol, the worst most famous Christmas story about ghosts. But I couldn't come up with anything that convinced me. Until now, I came up with a little story that could work as a small Christmas special for Nicole.

Long story short. Wandering through town Nicole found some teenage ghosts loitering in the park. And when she goes to them they happen to be very cool.

See, they were pranksters in the 90s so I like to imagine them being a bit of a bad influence for her for a bit, she being a good one on them and maybe helping them to transcend in the end. After all, convincing some billionaire to give out their millions would be the ultimate prank.

I don't have all the details but I liked the vibe.

Don't know if I'll do a Christmas piece for the rest of the whisperers though I'd like it. Contrasted with this, it could have a bit of a “Zetsubō Restaurant” Vibe. Ignacio is spending Christmas with his mother and Veronica and Ian with their respective families and I think their Christmas will be pretty normal this year. Except for the part of hiding the doll from her family in the case of Vero. So maybe not so normal. She also invited Nicole to come over as her parents are… let's say out of town…

I'm actually thinking about doing a pitch of the whisperers to this year's ideation. Which is a contest in an animation festival where the winner gets their pilot founded. I've actually done some pitches with a friend before and we got our asses kicked (In the sense that we didn't make it into the consideration) but who knows?… I also have thought about pitching the Worndown Children but I think the whisperers could work better as a kids show than the band. Mainly because of the weed… and other reasons… besides I already have the plot for some episodes with illustrations and everything.
