Well you know, the world is pretty much fucked and getting worst. So this year I'm going Christmas mode early. Lol

But for real. Seeing those Christmas begins on November 1st (3rd in México) memes, I started to think about what my Christmas piece this year could be, you know, as a bit for my own amusement. But the idea got me so excited that I decided to start working on them for real.

For last year's piece I went with a big scene with a lot of characters. But this year I thought about going the other way around with something more intimate. And instead of doing a big piece I could do some smaller ones.

Lore time!

When the train came out of the underground tunnel Lil's phone received a message sent 15 mins ago. Lil and her parents were going back home after a day "turisting" downtown.

See. Lil's parents have very few ties to their extended families so every year they do a party for friends and colleagues a week before Christmas. But on the actual day they traditionally don't do a lot. So they go out and have a walk. Maybe eat something and see the lights. Sometimes the city does a big Christmas show in front of the mayorship and they go and laugh at it for a bit. Unless it's actually good. It has happened a couple of times.

And about the message in Lil's phone. "Happy Christmas Lil!! 😸"  Sent by Diego and with a minions gif that they sometimes sent to each other ironically.

They had been texting each other earlier that day. He's back on town at a family reunion. Bored already. They just can't fit in his aunt's department and he had been texting from the balcony where he does get phone signals. But he had to go in cause it got too cold.

A bit messy but that's more or less the story behind this pic. Unless I change it later.

I really liked this idea cause, when possible, I can explore a bit of the family dynamic of the members of the band. In fact, it gives me the chance to actually design some of the members of the band's families. I started with posting Lil's cause her parents had shown before so there's no surprises here.

This is actually the third one I've made of this. There's just two left to do and in total there will be at least 5 because two of the group members will share one. (Not those two. Just saying so no one gets disappointed later lol). But if I find the time and energy I'd like to make more. At least 6 so it's an even number So maybe Tak or Tina, or who knows… Besides, if these end up sucking I can do something else later lol

Also, I'm adding an alt version with just Lil cause I spent too much time on the light of the background before realizing they'd be covered by Lil's dad. Lol.
