Gold And Blue

I wanted to get into the Golden Bikini trend and I got a bit over carried with it.

See, you can't see it here but I remade the background like three times, I wasn't fully convinced with the first two. The first one only had the sea behind her, but the whole thing looked really empty, besides It made no sense angle wise.

Then I started trying out some buildings like hotels and such. And also the van. I liked the idea, if I were to put a story behind this piece, of the band just arriving at some beach and going in. That's when I added the backpack and Zara's clothes, as if she was already wearing her down suit under them.

But in the end I decided to take the buildings out as it seemed like it implied she was staying at the hotel and with the gold and the angle of the picture it gave me something of a vibe I didn't like. So I went with something more natural and added the trees. Which in the end worked very well with the composition. I also added a wire pole next to the van to imply that they just stopped at some point in the highway.

To enter this trend I decided to go with Zara of course because gold and blue combine very well. Besides I went with Diana for the last swimsuit related art trend Which means that it will be Lil's turn for the next one. Lol.

This piece, I've decided, retroactively forms part of last year's "The Beach Episodes" series. It also gave me some ideas for if I decide to continue that series later this year. Let's see. I also have a couple of ideas to make something else.

This piece I will be making public before the week ends so the trend doesn't die down before I do it. This one was pretty fun to do.
