#83 - predator/prey relations

The next commission is here! This is a wonderful renaissance too for any of my big Worgen fans (literally) who have been patiently waiting years for me to create more content with them, which I am now happy to do thanks to the updated model.

There's a lot to unpack re: this commission. Let's start off with the actors. None of them really have names, so I assigned nicknames to all of them. Sub yiff, dom yiff, sub moo, dom moo. I think you can figure which name belongs to who.

• Sub Yiff - An OC of mine you've seen before, but with a fat morph applied (and with a much smaller dick). Personally, this is a non-canonical depiction of him.

• Dom Yiff - A generic white Worgen, mostly to contrast with the moo he's paired with.

• Dom Moo - Based off a Tauren that I shared on my SFW Twitter. The commissioner found him irresistible so they asked me to recreate that moo for this project.

• Sub Moo - Based off of Cadris from the previous commission, but with several key changes. I also like referring to him as "Not-Cad".

The commissioner was very specific about how they wanted the sub yiff/dom moo pairing to play out. They requested that the sub yiff look ashamed with what was happening to them, while the dom moo would actually look a little disgusted about having to mess around with the yiff at all. Hence this kind of disgusted-looking expression on that dom moo's face throughout the scene. Full of disdain. It's an interesting choice of characterization for both of them, though not necessarily one I would personally go for.

The roles are reversed for the other couple. I had more creative freedom with this couple, so their encounter plays out a bit differently. My idea is that Not-Cad is being extremely coy. He's feigning reluctance to having his body being teased (and later, used) by this very hungry looking yiff, but in actuality he is very much getting into it. It's like Not-Cad is trying to desperately save face, but will end up failing pleasurably.

Admittedly it was difficult for me to nail down an overall theme with this commission, given the setup for the scene. I am very much a creator that must find that kind of creative inspiration in order to proceed, and I struggle when I can't find that. I don't just make guys smash into each other for "fun".

Thankfully, my best friend Siggy came up with the title for this project, and he so succinctly understood the theme that I was trying to go for here, but just couldn't articulate: predator and prey relations. You see two very different depictions of the "predators" here handling their "prey". Sub Yiff is overly fearful it seems, but Dom Moo is out of it and looks more bored than menacing. Conversely, Dom Yiff is extremely hungry for some beef, but Not-Cad isn't quite as "scared" as he's letting on. There's definitely a lot of little nuances with how both of these couples are portrayed. You just have to look closely and use a bit of your imagination.

I think that's enough about the actors. The set is just that giant prison cell you can find in Zandalari ships. The commissioner originally only asked for one couple to be depicted (Sub Yiff x Dom Moo) before changing their mind and asking me to add the second couple. So my original idea was to have this imprisoned Yiff receiving some "personal" attention from a Tauren adventurer, aboard this Zandalari ship. But since the second couple was added (which muddied the original theme dramatically), that idea fell apart. Now it's more of a generic pirate booty ship. Works well enough for me.

Actually, you know that Zandalari threesome project of mine that I had to postpone for this commission? It's happening concurrently upstairs. I was going to link the two projects more closely together but I think I'll just keep them separated for now.

Speaking of which, this will probably be the last project that will feature Tauren/HM Tauren for a while. I will refuse any future commissions that ask for Tauren. They've dominated my works for a long time now, and I really would like to pay attention to the many other races that are in need of some loving. Like Orcs (always Orcs).
