Diana and a girl she met on the back stage of a battle of the bands or something. lol.
Oldish stuff.
I didn't have a lot of a story when I did this piece but a vibe. As usual. That Zebra, Evelyn, is a character I came up with long before for a school homework but I kinda really dug the design.
I haven't actually come up with a name for her but the vibe for her story is that she plays bass in a punk band that is kind of a rival band for the Worndown Children. I haven't really worked out that concept a lot but I have an idea for at least three members including Evelyn.
Both bands find themselves competing on various things including at a point for the "Worndown Children” name. At one point I wanted to do a “Civil war” Type of illustration with both bands facing each other showing all of them against their counterpart and with RJ in the center as some kind of neutral party because he joined the band after their feud started and thus he doesn't have a grudge against the other guys' roadie… Yet.
And in the Rival band dynamic there would be Diana and Evelyn who would be either exes or just really into each other... Or both. Kinda like an enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers back again or vice versa type of deal. IDK Sounds like fun.
I don't think it would work in the end, I think Evelyn would be too intense for Diana, but who knows. Either way, it can't be for the moment Evelyn's band is constantly on the road.
The background is effectively the backstage of a rock bar of a funky hole, There you can find the lower part of my "Yes" easter egg Graffiti. One of these days I'm going to go deeper into that.
