Mini-comics or visual novel?
Added 2021-09-01 17:15:23 +0000 UTCHi folks! I've been considering the format of these mini-comics and was wondering what your thoughts were on making them short visual novels instead. I have the necessary skills, experience, and connections to make the VN format work using the standard platform Ren'py, and believe that it would lead to a more interesting and immersive experience for these short stories than comics. The tradeoff is that I would likely only be able to do one short VN per month, as opposed to potentially two black and white mini-comics per month, though that goal is still ambitious.
I would say that I am personally motivated to try and take on the VN format and make something special, but I am curious to hear your thoughts too. And apologies for this comic concept rapidly evolving like this. It's sort of how my creative process works. Feel free to leave your thoughts below.
