New Tier Idea/Patron-only discord?

1: A new tier! Probably label it "Elite Tier" or "Royalty Tier" or something similar. The concept? Once a month, I become your personal art slave - You can request and receive one uncolored sketch of literally anything you want! (Rules of regular commissions apply).
It'd be a limited tier meaning only a few people could have it at a time (to cut down on the work required). I'm thinking of pricing it at $30 or so. Basically, this is a way for people who want guaranteed commission slots but don't want to wait for commissions to open to still get art from me. : )
2: A patron-exclusive discord! Or at the very least, a publicly available discord with certain perks available for patrons, with said perks increasing in accordance with their pledge level. I'd like some feedback and brainstorming from y'all to figure out what exactly those perks should be! I also want to know if you'd prefer it be exclusive to patrons or prefer a broader community?
I'm still considering both these ideas and I'm not committed to either yet. Feedback appreciated!

I say yes, I would pay between 20-30$. And I would doubt that there would be to many people, kind of like a conservative amount of long time fans

2025-09-06 02:41:26 +0000 UTCI feel like the patron only discord is a great idea. The mega tier sounds nice, but I highly reccomend limiting slots, and that sort of thing can really burn you out so be sure not to push yourself. It’s one hell of a can of worms to open.

Since you (and whoever your moderation team is, if you choose to have one) would have to maintain it. I will say, if you make it public, it would definitely help to have some Patreon integration, perhaps to give supporters a special role/exclusive channel. That could be a better solution than having the entire server being exclusive; but that all depends on how many people you want in there. Whatever you feel comfortable with! Apologies for the pair of lengthy comments. I read "feedback" and "brainstorming" and got a little ahead of myself lol.

2025-08-29 02:19:52 +0000 UTCAn uncolored sketch sounds good, but if and only if you think you can squeeze it into your schedule without overwhelming yourself. You don't want to set up this new tier perk that you aren't able to maintain long-term because of other obligations (both art related and IRL related), so definitely think on it some. Don't put a burden on yourself! I suppose you could also reconsider your posting schedule? Maybe dedicate 1 week a month to uncolored sketches, and the rest to personal projects and commissions. Like I said, think on it. An alternative perk could be polls, perhaps? Letting patrons have some influence on the occasional art piece. Especially if you're debating on a several personal projects to work on and need some help deciding. Could be simple stuff like "between these three characters, who should I draw?" or "I want to draw Pit, vote for a fun kink!" And higher tiered patrons would have more weight behind their votes. Something like that might be a little less committal than giving out several sketches. Just some random brain thoughts. I'm sure you know what'll work best for you.
