Driving... the sensations of driving are my primary inspiration, originality and difference are my second, because this is our fortune and this is what drove me to modding 15 years ago. Back then, modding was difficult, so difficult that there were very few of us who proposed alternatives to add to simulators like GT Legends and rFactor, and we all knew each other. And those who did it, since it was difficult to do, couldn't improvise. They believed in it so much that they spent nights learning hundreds of lines of code and scripts. Today, things are very different; everything, as always, has its advantages and disadvantages.

The Barchetta is the dream of a bygone era. It's like thinking back to a fascinating era we read about in history books or occasionally see in movies—the 19th century, the Roman Empire... the Renaissance. The Barchetta marks the end of FIAT and many other manufacturers' desire to create sports cars for everyone, to provide a thrill that's different from the point A to point B experience we have today.

The Barchetta wasn't perfect, but it was fast and fun. It was still a TA with 65% of the weight front-wheel drive... on paper, it certainly wasn't the perfect combination for sporty fun, but the engineers worked incredibly hard to make the Barchetta different from its initial expectations, fast and balanced, and I had to do the same.

Here, as you drive it, you'll realize that you'll be the one to go along with it, and you'll like that. It's not a Miata, and that's precisely why you're curious to try it. You'll certainly be surprised by how fast it is (it had 130 horsepower at the wheels) and how much "road it goes," an Italian expression describing a vehicle that goes faster than it delivers.

note; Compared to the photos in the post, the blur wheel rims have been added. The mod has working instruments, windshield wipers, a convertible top, and in-game opening side windows. Lights, fog lights, rear fog lights, high beams, and everything else that allows for a satisfying visual experience are also included. However, it is not yet fully finished, as evidenced by the V0.9 specification. If it is liked, other versions will follow, including a track day version.
