Templated What's New form complete.
Added 2023-04-30 19:03:55 +0000 UTCThe template is complete for this form now. Templating will help us deliver content to the form when a user keywords "hot" or "new", or via CTRL-2 when the client is active. Or by going to "Go To" menu and selecting the "What's Hot" menu item.
This form did not exist anywhere in any of the main.idx databases I've searched through, and I have a lot of them ranging from AOL1.0 up to AOL7 and 8. I was not able to find the actual forms FDO - but I did find the images for it - so I had to recreate it. You could watch the 20-minute video I posted the other day to see a bit of how I am having to recreate lost content.
This image above is informational which gives an explanation of the objects' inform relative IDs (these are used to gain access to them via FDO sent from the server so the content can be changed).
The template of this form itself will either contain no content on the first load and be filled in by the server, or will contain some default content - which will change as content for it gets created.
I'll try to make informational images like this one for every form I have to completely recreate. Mind you though, every form that has dynamic content should really have an informational image like this one so that content creators know what the relative IDs of the objects that can be changed are.
Next form I think is going to be the "Find a Chat" form as I have found the majority of the images. All I'm looking for right now is a reference image - which I remember seeing before but be damned if I can find it now...
