Hey sumito! As to how I handle patreon, I support you because I want you to succeed with what you do since I find the most admiring and aspiring thing in life is watching a person doing what he wants to do and accepting that they might not live a wealthy life but still doing it because they enjoy it. If I get bonus content I am very appreciative because to me I am just happy hearing how you do or getting the things you deemed "not shareworthy" because you have a high standard for yourself but to me I am just happy experiencing things you do or the experimenting you do because it feels like I can get to know you better, it is a bit like looking behind the curtain on a stage play! Glad you are still doing content and giving it all your courage because I can imagine how hard it must be sometime (to not say mostly all the time) Thank you for everything!

Great to hear you found optimism for your content and for the way your create stuff. The shpodcast content feels very natural to me, like just listening to a very talented and creative friend talk about their process and thoughts etc. Feels very inspiring to me. Thank you! And thank you for being so transparent! Keep it up! I personally dont care about patreon bonuses, i usually used patreon (before free membership) to subscribe to people i like to watch more of and get notifications for new stuff, especialily with youtube no longer really giving a flying fuck about the subscriptions. So it could have happened for creators just to completley disappear from my feed from one week to another and then i notice like a month later "oh right, where the f is X"

"I dont want to create any pressure for my future podcast guests.... but its Internet Historian" would have been funny.

Yeah, i shut the screen off at work. The ui feels a lot like youtube premium. Thanks for the extra content.

ah, and I _hate_ podcast shorts. I never followed a podcast short to the original podcast. But that just may be me.

Hi Sumito, just my honest feedback -- I don't think internet drama is my thing. It's never really interesting enough without hyping it up unreasonably. What the internet is up in arms about sounds exactly like that. Pewdiepie often said to not do what your fans want from you as a youtuber and I think that is naturally best as you need to be your own person. However there is obviously a lot of things to be considered below that, including, the same guy saying in pretty much the same sentence, to "of course" do what the fans want. Nowhere in there is however, and it shouldn't be, to do what the platform wants. What the platform wants is manageable hypnotizing slop. It's a shame really that discussing memes doesn't do it alone. But it never did. Pewdiepie's meme reviews were a comedy show, not a commentary, and I always took your meme shows as a comedy show as well -- not a commentary. I think that's why the transition to commentary and podcast does not feel as natural to me as you lay out. I think that's a disconnect: people who come for comedy and funny stuff, may not sit well with long-form commentary. But where you're correct is, at least for me, I'm in "also" (well mostly) in for the personality -- your personality. I don't dig "personas", the real person needs to get through a bit however impossible to do that really is. That said I'll be listening in but I don't think current issues and drama will do it for me. It'd be the sprinkle on top if really interesting, the rest would need to be memes or internet history, or something completely new that'd surprise and convince me.
