Ep. 18 is one of my favorites. My own father had recently passed so I get the grief. It comes back for me at unexpected times. With my dad it was finding his pipe and tobacco when cleaning out his place. I still have his pipe even though I don't smoke. The smell brings back so many good memories.

2025-12-24 11:51:14 +0000 UTCThe cast said that they & the crew purposely made "The Leftover Thermalization" episode not only to honor the character of Debbie Wollowitz but esp. as a way to honor and say a last loving goodbye to the actress who portrayed her, Carol Ann Susi, after her passing.💗🕊️ That thought always makes the episode even more touching to me. As far as Emily, Raj's girlfriend.. I don't know.. she makes a Lot of morbid, "serial killer vibe" jokes, lol! I mean, how well do we know Anyone when we're first going out, getting to know each other.. there are all "kinds" of people, and those who turn out to be psychotic, murderers are usually very adept at masking their real personality and intentions for as long as they need to.. 🎭 It's not even just Raj with whom she jokes like that; for instance, her remark to Bernadette in the limo on "Prom night", when Bernadette asked her if she liked the female character from The Nightmare Before Christmas because she had red hair like her(sorry, never watched it & can't think of her name).. And Emily said something to the effect of.. "A little I guess, but more that she can take off body parts and stitch them back together" or something like that. I mean you know she's kidding, but.. you Pray someone who makes those types of comments are kidding, right?!😳 😄 I just don't fault Raj for being a little wary of her sense of "humor", lol!😄😉
