About the porn on TV, yeah, it really was a thing at this point in time. But they would show it, but it would be scrambled. I don't remember offhand if you have watched American Pie? But if you have, the opening scene of the first movie, that's what it was. The Dad said to his wife, "It's just bad reception" so that's probably what you thought, but it would be scrambled like that. (But you could still hear it.) I have a little insight even though I never did that (No seriously, I never did.) But what I did do, was, at the time, my mom worked at a movie theater, and I would obsess over those movies, and then around 7 months later, they would be on Pay Per View, which would air the same way, scrambled, but you could still hear them, so I would listen to them. One weekend when I was at my Dad's apartment building, we got home late, and my favorite movie was on (Still my favorite movie) and so I turned it on - But it wasn't scrambled! It never happened again though (Though I was always hopeful after that). My Dad just assumed that someone in the building paid for it, and the company just unblocked it for the whole building on accident, or because they didn't know how to do it individually. So it was probably an error like that that caused Joey and Chandler to see it.

The subtitles always annoyed me - not your fault, its how they were on the original DVDs. For Friends being as big as it was, I can't believe they were so lazy with it. IE: Pheobe complaining about carrying the table around, Chandler: "Or a job where you don't carry a table" Subtitles: "Or a job without a table." Which, depending on how you read it, effects the next line, pheobe's reply, "Like a doctor?" Because... Some doctors do have tables, just don't have to carry them. It would be one thing if this was a one time thing but it's always like this, and always messing up jokes, and its frustrating. Sorry for my rant, you guys are awesome!
