The actress that plays Lucy as well as the actress who plays Ramona (the grad student who was sort of Sheldon’s girlfriend before Amy) are part of a music group called Garfunkel & Oats. They wrote the song that Howard performed for Bernadette. Both will continue to make appearances throughout the show.

2025-09-19 17:13:43 +0000 UTCThere will be more appearances of Professor Proton in the show. Like someone else mentioned in the comments, he won an Emmy Award for his appearances in TBBT. You can find it on YT, when he gets the award and also a standing ovation from the audience. Then there is also a clip showing him and Jim Parson presenting together for an Emmy. It’s a perfect duo and worth a watch too.

Not only does she have the necessary weirdness and quirks to be another unique personality for interacting with the group - especially the other three women, who each have their own weirdness - but also Lucy’s actress has a face, or maybe it’s just the expression she uses when playing this role, that just stands out more than the other women we’ve seen Raj with so far. She’s memorable in both appearance and behavior, and her extended stay in the series would be welcome. She wouldn’t even need to be a girlfriend for Raj in order to stick around, really; we know Stuart is looking for someone, too. Then again, so is Kripke, but let’s keep him away from her.
