When it’s western stuff it’s fun seeing Quynhs reactions, but you should watch some famous period films set in Asia so we can see how you may differ? A pop-culture example might be “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon”, with its Chinese cultural elements and tributary influences. But a more obscure example might be “The scent of the green papaya” which is an excellent movie set in Vietnam (not about the war for once!) it won a lot of awards back in the day. Also as a random off topic recommendation you two should watch the comedy “Mystery Men”(it’s so stupid it’s good! 🤣)
