When the friends were trying to keep the parents from seeing each other and Chandler says "What would Jack and Chrissy do" That is a reference to a sitcom TV show from the late 70's early 80's called Three's Company when a guy named Jack moves into an apartment with 2 women, Chrissy and Janet after their female roommate gets married and moves out in the pilot. But the only way the landlord would let Jack move in was for them to tell the landlord that Jack was gay. Each episode something silly would happen or someone would over hear something out of context. They were always in a situation like this where Jack would have to sneak a girl out of the apartment while the landlord was in another room. It was the perfect scenario for Chandler to ask that question and people who watched that show immediately understood and got the joke. Imagine watching a show today and someone says "What would Chandler and Joey do?"

Marlo Thomas’ father, Danny Thomas, was a comedian and actor; he had his own show in the 50s and 60s…but the best thing that he ever did…he was the founder of St. Jude’s Hospital for Children. Marlo took over her father’s role when he passed away. And when Jennifer Aniston met her (when she appeared as Mrs. Green on Friends) they became friends…and she introduced Jennifer Aniston to St. Jude’s. That’s why, if you search, you can find Jennifer Aniston supporting the hospital and families who receive treatment there.
