I never noticed that in the first season finale, it has Rachel desperately trying to get to the airport to catch Ross before he gets on the plane. And then the inverse happens in the series finale. Also, the birth episode foreshadows Monica and Chandler's storyline, and the twins. "No fair! I don't even get one. How come they get two!?" I can't imagine any of that was planned, so it's interesting to see how much some of the beats in the early years actually play out in by the end.
