Great reaction from both of you - thank you! Life of Brian was very controversal when it was released, many Christians taking offense, and there were various debates about whether it was blasphamous. (See John Cleese, Micheal Palin and a Bishop debating it on TV (now youtube) ... url = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYMpObbt2rs. A brilliant parady of those debates was done by the later "NOT THE 9 0'Clock NEWS" team (including Rowan Atkinson) (now also on Youtube) - well worth checking out url = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asUyK6JWt9U. It inverts the debate, and suggests that the General Synod's "Life of Christ" is a parady of Monty Python, and is an offense to Pythonists everywhere.
