The "gossip" episode is one of the best of the whole series... and yes, the word "meme" existed in anthropology before the internet usage as a way to describe a type of social spreading in comparison to genes.

2025-02-05 19:03:47 +0000 UTCI don't remember if we get an explanation about Bernadette (TBBT is not very consistent in their story lines overall) but it may have been a false rumour, or just a thought on a bad day that she shared, or the reason was her not being sure about Howard's intentions. I mean, she has to share him with his mother, they can't really live together, etc. etc. Maybe proposal was just what she needed for him to show that he really loves her and he is ready for a family.

I think the fact she is otherwise pretty unlikeable and people are protective of Penny, makes some people genuinely blind to that or something. Idk. Thoughts? *p.s. I'm definitely not on board with demanding one stop a friendship. Just think she's valid in her feelings of discomfort and that Leonard should respect them which means boundaries with Penny, not ending the friendship.

2025-02-05 00:32:28 +0000 UTCI do love video games and superheroes, however, I would be sad and disappointed if my boyfriend preferred playing games over spending time with me when I’m in the same room with him, because I don't even do that to my friends, and I find it really rude to do such things to anyone , but in Leonard's case, it's different here, and I kinda agree with you here that Priya was impatient, because Sheldon needed his friends to help him, not to play with him , so leonard wasn’t even ignoring her or something he was just trying to help his friend.

They don’t take the character; they sell all of your valuables and then transfer all of your money to themselves. Selling in-game gold illegally was a big thing back then. I just notified the company, and they restored my things.

Years later I decided I wanted to play the game again so I emailed Blizzard support. They turned the account back over to me, only now I had like 100 million gold and my storage chest was filled with legendary weapons and piles of gems 🤣

Remember, they had multiple episodes where he came across as immature to her, so I imagine that he finally showed the level of commitment that she was looking for all along.
