That car got dented TWICE before we returned. You ONLY get into trouble when you DON'T have insurance. You'll never convince me otherwise. lol

It's so obvious he's disappointed that they say they've got homework after coming back from the 1st day of school. His wife wants to relax and read, but he's feeling the pain of empty nest, that he's projecting on her. Amazing that she noticed it, realized he was making her go run to distract himself from how he misses them. I wish he wouldn't be so horny for Gloria. I guess Claire trusts him more than I could and is more confident in herself, than I am. honestly, 90% of being a good dad is just showing up? It makes sense in this context, but it is such BS. like it doesn't matter at all, or only 10%. how you treat the kid after you showed up? ... the wife doing the work literally at the same time when the husband is watching a sports game and neither of them respecting the other is one of the most frustrating things of the society in 20th/21st century. If someone is watching TV and he/she's into it, why not leave them alone? If you are part of a household, why leave your partner to do all the housekeeping? Sheesh. Unanswered questions. The solution - not getting married unless you can pay a maid, is also a problem. You'll be called an old maid. This world's logic is fascinating. Also, getting married and/or pregnant takes a few seconds. Getting divorced takes tons of time and money.

2025-02-03 13:13:24 +0000 UTCThe joke was, that Cameron really wanted to blow bubbles and not leave all the fun to the babies. Helicopter in Spanish is helicóptero (or possibly volador). There's no way a Colombian person wouldn't know it's helicopter in English.

2025-02-03 03:29:41 +0000 UTC"The Cam Show" is an inside joke for Mitchell & Cameron, meaning that Mitchell thinks Cam is too "out there" and flamboyant and makes a scene. He wanted Cameron to tone it down and not make it The Cam Show. Which, frankly, is rather sad and not supportive of his partner. Cameron should be able to feel like he can be himself and that family is a safe space, but anyway....that's the joke. While I don't have kids (by choice), I can say what they mean by scooting and grabbing, only because I play The Sims and sometimes my Sims have babies, LOL. Grabbing is literally grabbing for objects, and scooting is sort of a butt-scoot thing they do before they're able to raise themselves up to crawl, so they can move short distances on their own. Basically, the woman was just asking about Lily's infant milestones, as it's apparent that her own kid is older than Lily and has already gone through those milestones.
