If I do this I will have to see if there is an interest on YouTube as well as here because the editing is quite time consuming, but just to check in with y'all... which sounds the most fun to watch along with me?

If that's no longer available to me, I don't really see much point in paying. No idea if others see things the same way. Probably not that many. Those are just my thoughts.

2024-11-12 00:55:44 +0000 UTCThis has so many comments with so many awesome suggestions - so here's my 2 cents: I think if you're looking for a new sitcom, then you can't go wrong with How I Met Your Mother or The Good Place - they are both fantastic and so hilarious with really great characters. If you're looking for a new fantasy or sci-fi show, then I recommend Grimm or Fringe or the Vampire Diaries or Eureka or Doctor Who - they are all excellent shows with great fanbases and they're really well written with nice humor and dynamic characters. Since you have been doing the MCU rewatch with Quynh, I think you would both LOVE Agents of Shield - it is one of my all-time favorite shows and it got better every single season. If you are interested in a mystery genre show, then I recommend Veronica Mars or Castle or The Mentalist - they are all excellent and witty and so well-acted and written!

HOWEVER, I think rewatching this would be a HUGE chunk of precious reacting time that could be given to a new show. I love Quynh, but would I want to rewatch it all over again so soon when I could see a new reaction series, definitely not. I would love the most popular in the poll to win, but for £20 a month to watch the Patreon, I sadly wouldn’t continue at that tier to rewatch Friends again for two years. Love you guys though. My vote is for Stranger Things, and yes, with Quynh too if she wanted to. But I think Friends again, although one of the greatest sitcoms, would feel repetitive and a waste of money.xx

It is cinematic and set in the best decade for me. Seriously, it’s INCREDIBLE isn’t it. I hope it wins. Or Vampire Diaries, maybe. I feel like you already do a lot of comedy's sitcomes here, we need a little more diversity, and you should replace Buffy with a show that is somewhat like it.

Wouldn't it make sense though, to just start Friends over again with Quynh when your current watch ends? I would be over the moon if you decided to watch Star Trek: The Original Series. It's one of my all time favorite shows and would also add more dimension to TBBT, Sheldon Cooper, and any future Star Trek or sci-fi shows if you wanted to go on from there. You have to start with the original and it's still the best version with the most pop culture references.

I believe it replaced Friends as the most streamed show in the world within the past couple of years and there's not a load of reactors to the show out there. It seemed like you enjoyed the first episode and the overall jump in quality from s1 to the start of season 2 (s1 only has 6 episodes) is huge.

Feels like everybody is doing one of the others and the saturation is kinda bothersome imho. Choose Star Trek for that reason because it's a classic but there might be other even better choices, Babylon 5 for instance. See the great Andreas Katsulas and Peter Jurasik at work.

2024-11-04 09:32:55 +0000 UTCI would also suggest "Happy Endings," it's a more modern twist on Friends but with only 3 seasons and unfortunately it was cancelled then without ironically a fulfilling ending, but would be curious to see your reaction to a similar premise as Friends "Ghosts" - the US version is still ongoing, but pretty funny IMO. For a drama to replace "Buffy," maybe "The O.C."? I know it may be polarizing but it's only 4 seasons and some pretty crazy twists & turns for you to react to. I love "Star Trek," but that's a huge commitment to jump into the entire Star Trek universe.
