Nick, have you seen Lord of the Rings? Cate played Galadriel the elf in that trilogy and the actor who played Skurge (her right hand man until he changed sides at the end) is Karl Urban, also from the LOTR trilogy as Eomer from Rohan. He is all Billy Butcher from The Boys

2024-11-03 23:47:16 +0000 UTCAbout the Hammer, the restriction on Mjolnir was put on it by Odin. When he died she, as the first born, inherited much of his power. That allowed her to escape and also to manipulate Mjolnir. To a degree anyways.

Also, when casting for the first movie, their younger brother Liam had been considered for the role. The barber who cuts Thor's hair is Stan Lee, executive producer and co-creator of this and The Incredible Hulk. Chris and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) also starred together in Men in Black: International, which I highly recommend!
