Umbridge was r* ped by the centaurs, so she suffered but that only cemented her bigotry against them.

I don't think the movies give you the info you need to figure out how Harry lives. It's explained much more in the books. It has to do with Voldemort using Harry's blood during the ritual to get into his body in Goblet of Fire. At the end of that book there's a "gleam of triumph" in Dumbledore's eye when he learns about Voldemort using his blood and that line was debated by fans until the final book was released. I guess I won't spoil everything in case you do end up reading the books π
I forget how much of Snape's memories are left out in the movie. They paint his character in a much better light. In the books he's much more gray although still brave.
Oh and sorry but Umbridge doesn't die. She's a bureaucrat so of course she doesn't fight in the battle or suffer real consequences π.

I had watched this movie several times before I realized the giants were swinging during the attack, they were broken goal hoops from the Quiddich field.

Before Snape flies away through the window from McGonagall, notice how he
deflects her spells directly
at the two Death Eaters behind him ...
The conversation between Harry and Dumbledore at the end in the afterlife is explaining EVERYTHING in the books, and Dumbledore treats Harry with all the respect ever ... the movie changes it to Harry asking "what should i do" and Dumbledore walking away like a jerk :(

"Voldemort himself must do it", because if someone random killed Harry, then Harry would not survive. But
Voldemort attacking Harry - there's a chance Harry will survive it.
