a lot of people miss it, but early in the film Alan referenced the film Rainman. in Rainman Dustin Hoffman is autistic and can count cards, so his little brother (Tom Cruise) takes im to Vegas, The scene where they're coming down the escalators in suits to the casino floor is exactly how Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman did it in Rainman.. Pt 2 is great as well.
