The Season 5 villain, since you don't know her name yet, is my absolute favourite Buffy Villain. You will learn to dread 'Her' presence. Season 5 is S Tier for Me, plenty of great standalone episodes and a gradually panic inducing major and sub plot. I personally have nothing against Riley, he's just totally not needed anymore. If anything he should have died for Buffy at the handsof Adam, but then we might not have had the Season 4 Finale. The Spike subplot is hilarious and yes it's pretty obvious they're just doing whatever they can to include him as much as possible as a side cast member. There'll be more room once Riley's gone, just from a writing standpoint.

I also love how Buffy tried to save the monk by jumping out the window with him. She knew she was facing a strong opponent and needed to get out of there, but she knew she had to save the monk too. I love her heroism. Thanks again. Take care!
