Little Shop of Horrors

DO NOT watch the theatrical version.

I just found out that the version I watched was not the same as the one shown during theatrical release, and I'm upset.  The ending to this film, the one originally intended which thankfully was the one I watched, is SO GOOD, but if I had watched the theatrical ending, the sanitized, watered down, soulless, and unoriginal ending... my love for this film would amount to a quick shrug.

Please, do yourself a favor and watch this version, the real ending, it's an amazing end to an amazing film.

Well if you like dark comedies, there’s Heathers and Beetlejuice (tho I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re already familiar with the latter)

You asked about 80's comedies. Here's a few suggestions -- Caddyshack, Good Morning Vietnam, Bull Durham, Planes Trains and Automobiles, When Harry Met Sally, The Stunt Man (1980), Victor/Victoria, A Fish Called Wanda

This movie really isn't my thing, so I'm going to skip it, but I did skip ahead to your review. After seeing certain things you said in the review, I'd highly recommend you watch the movie Roxanne. I won't say anything about it, because it's much more fun if you go into it as blind as possible. Only, do yourself a favor. If you do watch it, DO NOT look it up. Don't read about it, don't ask anyone about it, and for god sake, don't look at the poster. If you do, you'll inevitably get spoiled. I do think you'll love it, though. Oh, I will say one thing, though. It's not like this movie. Blind is more fun, but you'll do yourself a disservice if you go in expecting...well, this.
