Angel 1x11 FULL Reaction

You missed Jeremy's name listed as a guest star and you asked about vampires rules when entering a home, but two minutes before you asked that question, Angel was explaining that rule, but you were talking over his dialogue and missed it.

I was so happy to hear you mention Fleabag! It's such a great show with a very unique approach. Phoebe Waller-Bridge deserves so much credit for not only her great acting in it, but also for writing it. I think she did it as a one woman show before they made it a show on Amazon.

It wouldn’t make much sense for Angel to fall in love or start a relationship with someone else only a few months after leaving Buffy, the only person he ever loved in 240 years. It wouldn’t consistent with his character.

Vampire invitation: If it's a public place, they can enter freely. There may be some obscure rules around that, but in general, if the public is welcome, then it's implied that the Vampire is also welcome. If it's a private residence, including an apartment, they require invitation. Apparently, that also extends to a blank invitation for the future, as Angel was able to use Cordelia's invitation before she even had secured an apartment. If a house has no owner or an apartment no renter, they can enter freely; this also means that if the owner or renter dies, the Vampire can enter. Because a Vampire is dead, even if that Vampire technically owns a house or rents an apartment, another Vampire can enter without invitation; it has to be a living being to keep them out. I made a recent comment on an older video about Angel/Angellus being responsible for his crimes, and I'll just briefly offer my opinion that yes, Angel *is* responsible for Angellus' crimes. Angel/Angellus is the same demon that committed those crimes. The human Angel once was -- whose name I won't mention because it hasn't been revealed yet in the series -- is still long dead. The return of the human soul doesn't change that, and the demon isn't removed by the soul, only suppressed by conscience and remorse which are foreign to most demons. So Angel and Angellus are the same person. Only the circumstances (the soul) changed so that the demon Angel feels guilt and remorse for his past actions, which is why he's trying to atone. Cordelia's speech at the end, however, makes it clear that his atonement has changed him, and that's true. But the demon is still the demon, and it doesn't absolve him of past deeds.
