Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer (Ross) were actually crushing on each other when the show first started which is probably why you can feel their chemistry. There are some BTS footage of the two of them being flirty and cuddly with each other on the couch in Monica's apartment in between takes during the first season.

2023-05-01 02:32:51 +0000 UTCI enjoyed this episode. I forgot most of the jokes so it was great to rewatch especially Rachel and Barry’s scene with that poor kid lol. Regarding the “cold opening” analogy, yes girls like the rockstar too but I think it’s to do with intimacy. For most guys, they can be happy with the rockstar even without the intimacy part and they assume girls are the same, but for most girls the act isn’t enough which is why “technique” and all that stuff isn’t as valuable as the affection part. This is why need the comedian. As for your question about who the best actor is…personally for me, this is one of those rare shows where they are all good and it just comes down to preference. For me, every single one of them have great comedic timing and they all have their own stand out moment throughout the show. Although my personal favourites are Ross and Chandler. I’ve never been able to decide on the girls. I relate most to Phoebe because she’s into aromatherapy and spirituality. I also love her quirkiness but I don’t love her. I feel neutral about the girls. It will be interesting to see which “friend” becomes your ultimate favourite :) Anyway I loved the reaction Thor! Thanks again! FYI, Susan is the same actress from BB. You know, Walter’s former partner that became a millionaire? I forgot her name though…

2022-12-08 11:26:56 +0000 UTCI love rewatching the first season - you can just feel the energy of the live audience, especially whenever Phoebe says anything. She's so quirky and unpredictable you can't help but laugh! David Schwimmer as Ross is so good this episode too.
