Someone may have already told you this, but in the scene with Lorraine in the car, Fox expected the flask to have juice in it, but they put strong whiskey in it resulting in the epic spit-take.

2022-09-14 05:25:59 +0000 UTCGreat Reaction!! Just a couple of music references. You mentioned Huey Lewis and the news in the first few minutes of the opening credits. They were a popular band in the mid 80’s and played the song “Power of Love” for the movie. It was playing at the beginning when Marty was skating behind the cars. It was also the song Marty played for the talent show audition when the judge said it was too loud. The inside joke was that it was Huey Lewis himself who played that judge saying it was loud. Also at the dance, Marty played a song called Johnny B Goode that you didn’t know and one of the other band members called his cousin Chuck Berry during the performance who was a very popular singer who was looking for a “new sound.” The band member held up the phone so Chuck could hear Marty play. It was actually Chuck Berry who wrote the song in 1958 and most of the guitar moves Marty did were first done by Chuck Berry when he performed it in 1958.
