2022-05-13 05:02:23 +0000 UTCOne interesting thing from Cordelia in this episode, in the conversation about why Buffy wants to be homecoming queen--the little bit about "I don't understand why you want this when you're doing all this." Cordelia really does admire what Buffy does; judging from the tone, she can't imagine why someone does something important and meaningful would want to "just" be homecoming queen, which suggests that Cordelia really wants to be a lot more than she has had a chance to be.

2022-05-07 01:44:52 +0000 UTCIn S2 E1 "When She Was Bad" Xander & Willow almost kiss before being interrupted by a vampire. And then later in S2, Xander clearly shows jealousy that Oz is interested in Willow (in "Phases"). We all know Willow has had a thing for Xander since forever but now we're seeing Xander may have as well. If he does & if it's genuine, my guess would be it's because Willow has changed. Since meeting Buffy and then after getting together with Oz, she is becoming more confident & that's always an attractive quality. Season 1 Willow was quite the opposite. Now the real question is, does Xander like Cordelia as much as she likes him? Because even though they both banter with one another, Cordy seems to genuinely care about him where he has shown her a lot of disrespect even before this kiss with Willow.
